MarketEd.Live 2019 is just around the corner and to say we’re excited is an understatement. We’ve got a stellar line-up of speakers again this year and, while we don’t want to give too much away, we thought we’d give you a sneak preview of what they’ll be talking about at Nottingham Contemporary on Monday, September 30. So here’s a bit more about Teresa Heath-Wareing and a taster of what you can expect.

Teresa Heath-Wareing is a good friend of MarketEd.Live. This will be her third time joining us, but it will be her first time as a speaker. And the keynote, no less. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s got something pretty special lined up for us all.

A TEDx speaker, podcaster, author and business owner, Teresa works with businesses, entrepreneurs and marketers to help them enhance their social media and marketing efforts.

She has spent the last 15 years in marketing, working with some big-name brands, and is recognised alongside some of the world’s social media thought leaders.

She writes for Social Media Examiner, as well as hosting a weekly podcast called ‘Marketing that Converts’ that has seen her interview the likes of Amy Porterfield, Pat Flynn and Brian Fanzo.

And she is bringing something to MarketEd.Live 2019 that will make us sit up and take notice, of that we can be sure.

Make your fans rave about you

You may know what a business funnel roadmap is. If not, Teresa is going to tell you. If you do, Teresa is going to show you what to do with it. Whichever way, Teresa is going to teach you something you won’t forget.

“I’m going to talk about how to develop a clear business funnel that will take your audience from prospect to customers to raving fans,” she says.

“I will be looking at the key parts of a business that move people from discovering you, engaging with you and then buying from you, including how you delight them to make them raving fans.

“Attendees will discover a pathway in which a customer follows and how that can relate to their own business. Within each part of the path I will explain what is needed and give ideas on how they can get the prospect to take the next step.

“If the audience are struggling to convert customers, I am hoping this talk will give them a formula to follow and they will be able to spot if they are missing a part.”

Teresa is the headline act this year and it’s an opportunity she will grasp with both hands.

Where will those connections take you?

“This is the third time I have been to MarketEd.Live, it’s always such a great event packed with loads of tips, tools and strategies,” she says. “I am completely honoured to be keynoting this year – it’s going to be awesome. And the parties are always good!

“The benefits of attending a conference like MarketEd.Live really are endless. You get to learn from amazing people, and being sat in the room means you are taking time away from any distractions so you can fully focus.

“And what is also key is that you get to network with amazing people, that is how BizPaul and I met. We sat next to each other years ago at a Social Day conference, so you never know where those connections will take you.

“Another big reason why I attend conferences is to meet the speakers, so I can start building a relationship with them. As the saying goes, you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with.

“Also, I know it’s a cliché, but it is so important to take time to work on the business, not in the business. It’s going to be a fun-packed, inspiring day with lots of amazing people. And then lots of gin!”
