We’ve got a stellar line-up of speakers again this year and, while we don’t want to give too much away, we thought we’d give you a sneak preview of what they’ll be talking about at Nottingham Contemporary on Monday, September 30. So here’s a bit more about Gavin Bell and a taster of what you can expect.

We all hate ads popping up all over our social media, don’t we? But we also know that ads are an integral part of marketing. It’s a bit of a conundrum. So, step forward Gavin Bell.

Gavin is a multi-award winning entrepreneur, and what he doesn’t know about Facebook ads isn’t worth knowing.

Not only is he a leading Facebook advertising consultant, he’s also a renowned vlogger with millions of views and an avid podcaster.

Gavin helps brands across the world to utilise Facebook in a way that not only builds their audience, but turns that attention into revenue, and his work has been featured on the likes of, Huffington Post, Entrepreneur on Fire, KissMetrics and Social Media Examiner.

He’s more than used to travelling all over the world as a keynote speaker talking about Facebook ads, funnels, online marketing, entrepreneurship and marketing in general.

We’re thrilled Gavin has chosen to stop off at MarketEd.Live this year to tell us how to create ads that aren’t annoying and that actually work to help you build your business. It’s going to be fun!

Don’t crash and burn with Facebook ads

“Everyone hates ads,” says Gavin. “Even my three-year-old nephew knows how to skip ads on YouTube.

“So, at MarketEd.Live, I’m going to be talking about how we can advertise in a way that not just helps others, but helps us see awesome profits.

“During my session, I’m going to be diving into how to create amazing organic content on Facebook, talking about why most businesses get advertising wrong, and walking through the steps on making it work for you.

“I’ve seen so many entrepreneurs crash and burn with Facebook ads, because they don’t understand them fully. I don’t want that to happen to you.

“With every talk I give, I always aim for one or two people to walk away and action what they’ve learned. If that happens, I’ll be happy. I truly believe what I teach doesn’t just impact businesses, it impacts lives.”

One thing we can expect from Gavin is that his talk won’t be boring (not that any of our speakers fall into that category). And he definitely will not be reading bullet points from a slide.

“Speaking isn’t just speaking,” he says. “It’s performance. It’s inspirational. It’s motivational.

“And I’m really looking forward to bringing that to MarketEd.Live 2019. I’ve heard many good things about the event, so I can’t wait to get down, meet all the attendees and learn from some of the incredible speakers.
